About the Labyrinth
Almost the moment we saw this property we knew that we would need to build a labyrinth on the land. And that’s what we did. Every rock on the labyrinth was brought down the hill by Sean or Holly (mostly Sean), and our group of loving “labyrinth brothers”. Sean based this labyrinth on the one at Chartres Cathedral- it has 12 rings. Walking the full labyrinth is an exercise in meditation and mindfulness. There are many turns and twists until you arrive in the center. There at the center there are 6 petals- each representing a different dimension of life: mineral, plant, animal, human, angelic and unknown. We are so honored to share this labor of love with our guests on the land. Take some time to walk the labyrinth. Breathe deeply and walk slowly. The labyrinth is our offering to the land, to the sky and to our guests who come to stay here.
